State Buildings is joining Negroni Week for the first time this September, rolling out a precinct-wide program across its heritage venues that goes well beyond the cocktail. Running from Friday 18 to Thursday 24 September 2026, the week-long celebration is delivered in partnership with Campari. It weaves Italian aperitivo culture into the fabric of one of Perth’s most storied addresses
Negroni Week at State Buildings

Postal Hall becomes the centrepiece of the program, operating as a dedicated Negroni destination each evening from 5 pm. A rotating bar will pour signature Negroni interpretations from five precinct venues: Beer Corner, Long Chim, Petition Kitchen, Wildflower and Post. Meanwhile, nightly pizza and an Italian soundtrack keep the atmosphere going well into the night. Italian DJ sets are scheduled for Friday 18, Sunday 20, Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 September.
The standout ticketed event lands on Saturday 19 September. A collaboration dinner between POST and Sydney Italian favourite Mi Scusi, it is priced at $180 per person. The evening begins at 6 pm with a Negroni Sbagliato and four canapés. Later, guests move into POST’s main dining room for a four-course dinner, finishing with dessert in the Cape Arid Rooms. Matching wines are available throughout, and music follows guests across each stage. So, it becomes a genuinely progressive evening rather than a standard sit-down.

“Negroni Week is a natural fit for State Buildings, blending food, drinks and music with the culture of the aperitivo,” said Lucas Fernandes, Director of Culinary at State Buildings. “This inaugural year lets us build something special and see where we can take it.”
Negroni variations will remain available across participating venues throughout September. Consequently, it extends the spirit of the week beyond official dates.
