Put the dates in your diary: Perth Comedy Festival returns from 19 April to 16 May 2027, and the first batch of acts is out. Tickets are on sale now, and organisers will announce more shows and acts next month.
Perth Comedy Festival 2027: First lineup announced

Jimeoin leads the lineup with the relaxed delivery, physical comedy and everyday observations he has built his career on over decades.
Connor Burns comes from Edinburgh. However, he has gone from local favourite to international touring headliner, with a dark but relatable style.
Denise Scott returns to solo performance after more than a decade away, with her most personal show yet, Tickety Boo. She has spent the past three years going through cancer treatment, and she brings her observational humour and candour to Perth from the other side of it.
Marc Lottering, one of South Africa’s best-loved comedians, returns to Perth with the characters and observational humour that have won him a following at home and abroad.
Daniel Muggleton will play the Astor Theatre for the first time, a step up to one of the city’s biggest and best-known stages for the dark-humoured, tracksuit-clad stand-up.
Luke Heggie rounds out the announcements with the deadpan delivery and blunt take on modern life that have made him one of Australia’s more distinctive stand-up voices.
Scottish night and the Gala

The 100% Scottish Comedy Night comes back for its fourth consecutive year. Experience Scottish humour and quick-fire wit at its finest!
The festival Gala runs on Wednesday, 28 April and Wednesday, 12 May. It puts emerging and established comedians on the same bill, which makes it an easy way to sample the lineup.
