What is Mind of a Serial Killer: The Experience?
It’s a walkthrough exhibition on criminal psychology, forensic investigation and the pursuit of justice. Across more than 20 multi-sensory stops, you move through files, archives, documentaries and crime-scene recreations, following more than 16+ documented cases from first profile to forensic resolution.
The spotlight stays on the people who worked those cases: investigators, profilers and forensic teams. You’ll look at the backgrounds and behavioural patterns behind each case, how evidence was gathered and linked, and why the route closes on the victims, accountability and justice.
You will step directly into a virtual reality crime scene, acting as the lead investigator to collect evidence and track down clues firsthand. Surrounding this interactive VR sequence is a physical exhibit featuring a gripping mix of authentic historical artifacts and meticulously crafted replicas.
Mind of a Serial Killer Reviews
The exhibition has already run in cities including Dublin and New York. Here’s how critics there described it:
“As the experience progresses, context replaces myth. Investigative voices replace any notions of notoriety.” – Irish Examiner (Dublin)
“Instead of turning serial killers into celebrities, Mind of a Serial Killer’s mission is to dissect the mindsets of what drives murder for a better global understanding, while creating a place to honor slain victims.” – amNewYork (New York)
One heads-up before you sign up: Mind of a Serial Killer deals with violence and disturbing historical themes, and the age requirement for Perth is still to be confirmed.
