It’s that time of the year again; supermarkets are cranking the Chrissy carols and twinkling lights of red and green are an unescapable vision, whether you like it or not. But if you’re into the festivities that complement the silly season, then the Christmas Twilight Market is the place to be.
On Friday 18 November the Perth Cultural Centre is set to come alive with makers, artisan crafters, and gourmets, turning the peaceful cityscape into a colourful and eclectic marketplace full of delicious food, drinks and handmade Christmas themed goodies.
To name a few of the 80 stalls you can expect to browse are: Izzett Design for ceramics, MiaEssenza for beauty products, Slobberlicious for pet goods, Rope Plants & Co for homewares, Tanya’s Terarriums for unique plant houses, and Juri Clay Designs for jewellry.
In terms of food and gourmets, expect to get your grubby mitts on treats from: Who Gives A Crepe, Carina’s Kitchen, Fairbrossen Wines, SOBA Mobile Bar, Steambun Factory, Small Batch Gourmet, Sweet Gatherings, Fudge Affairs, and Kate’s Kitchen – to mention a few.
As well as the array of stalls at the Christmas Twilight Market; live music will echo the concrete al fresco, drinks will be slowing from WA Museum Boola Bardip’s pop-up bar, and wee market goers will have the chance to visit Santa and life-size fairies with a face full of delicately painted works.
The Christmas Twilight Market will run from 4pm through to 9pm on Friday 18 November at Perth Cultural Centre in Northbridge. Pop in after work, or amidst a late-night shopping spree in Perth City.
