Always dreamed of jetting off to Japan minus the pesky stopover? Well, dream no more – All Nippon Airways (ANA) is making a grand return to Western Australia with their direct Perth to Tokyo route.
From 29 October 2023, the acclaimed Japanese airline will make its comeback after a four-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, flying straight from Perth International to Tokyo Narita International Airport.
ANA’s NH882 will lift off from Tokyo-Narita every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 11:20am, and will arrive in Perth at 8:30pm, local times.
Upon an inspection and the tick of approval, the NH881 route will make its way back to Tokyo-Narita from Perth at 9:55pm on the same three days – reaching the sweet, sweet ground in Japan at a crisp 8:30am the following day.
The airline’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner is set to dominate the skies for this particular route, boasting all the essentials, plus lie-flat business class seats – all with direct aisle access.
Perth Airport’s Acting CEO, Kate Holsgrove is hopeful for a year-round daily service with ANA in the future too, so if you have an aversion to Wednesday, Friday, or Sunday flights, you’ll be in good hands.
Further, ANA is expected to extend its partnership with Virgin Australia this year, with benefits ranging from earning Velocity Points and status credits on selected ANA flights to redeeming Velocity Points on ANA flights all on the cards.
