Symphony orchestras never fail to put on a spectacular show, with audiences guaranteed to be captivated by the musical concoctions that are produced by large ensembles. And on a date yet to be announced, symphony and rock enthusiasts alike will have the opportunity to witness a one-off show, Classic Rock Live, where the a symphony orchestra, of which is yet to be announced, will host a collaboration to bring you a rockin’ evening.
As well as the orchestra, a killer eight-piece rock band and five hot vocalists will bring about a whole new dimension in sound to some of rock’s greatest anthems.
Classic Rock Live will bring to life in a sensational display, iconic hits from The Rolling Stones, INXS, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, Queen, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, Meat Loaf, Bon Jovi, The Pretenders and a whole heap more.
Expect to hear a slew of legendary rock masterpieces from Paul McCartney’s Live and Let Die to the haunting power of Pink Floyd’s Comfortably Numb, the sheer exhilaration of Led Zeppelin’s Kashmir plus the epic Bohemian Rhapsody, Space Oddity, Simply the Best, Hotel California, You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth, Never Tear Us Apart and so many more absolute classics.
Classic Rock Live is set to bring a whole new meaning to your favourite rock anthems with over 50 musicians on-stage with the orchestra, arranged by the award-winning Jamie Messenger.
The high-octane band and backing vocalists will see Andy Byrnes, Miranda Carey, Luke Cuerden, Robyn Loau, Joel McDonald, Dave Molland, Paul Najar and Michael Tan take to the stage – bringing together an absolutely mega collaboration of talent.
