Ah yes, the beloved Market Grounds has done it again – following their success of bottomless gnocchi nights in the month of June, the CBD pub are continuing the limitless legacy with their new bottomless yum cha every Wednesday evening in July.
The casual eatery are blessing us Perthians with the opportunity to satisfy our deepest, darkest yum cha cravings for just $39 per person – and you’ll be able to indulge in the boundless affair across an entire two hours, challenge accepted.
The six tantalising plates of morsels up for grabs are; ginger pork and prawn dumplings with house-made chilli oil, Szechuan salt and pepper squid with chilli jam, prawn and chicken siu mai, steamed greens in mushroom oyster sauce, fried pork wontons with wasabi mayo, and special fried rice with shiitake, baby corn, green bean, egg and fried shallots.
The mid-week extravaganza is giving big Studio Ghibli’s, Spirited Away (2001) energy, with the addition of matched cocktails and wines to quench your thirsty needs while you pig-out. Although turning into pigs probably isn’t on the cards, unlike Chihiro’s parents in the hit 2000’s film.
Market Grounds itself is an award-winning, inner-city pub which honours its previous locale as a marketplace. Its prime site near Yagan Square and RAC Arena makes for a convenient meeting spot, whether you’re coming from the CBD or from Northbridge. It’s the link that brings your friends from both sides of the traino together, if you will.
With the first bottomless yum cha session launching on July 6, this drool-worthy experience is set to be another sell-out – so secure your spot here.
