It’s Santa Claus like we’ve never seen him before, as unsaintly as ever. When a bunch of mercenaries break into a family compound on Christmas Eve, they come across Mr Claus himself and end up in a bloody battle with him. If you’re done with the formulaic Christmas rom-coms flooding your streaming services, this Christmas action-comedy might just be your festive breathe of fresh air.
Avatar: The Way of Water
It’s the moment film buffs have been waiting quite some time for: the second Avatar film from acclaimed director James Cameron. This month, return to planet Pandora, to the lives of Jake Sully and his newfound Na’vi family as they protect their home. The first film, which we absolutely loved, was released back in 2009, so you can bet we’re excited for this one.
I Wanna Dance With Somebody
This year has been abundant in biopics, and we get to finish it with another one, this time following the life and music of Whitney Houston, one of the greatest female R&B pop singers in history. After reading the title of the film, we’ve now got that song stuck in our heads, and we’re not complaining.
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
While you’re out shopping for Boxing Day sales with the kids, why not hit up the cinema with the kids too? Our favourite feline is back, having used up eight of his nine lives. This calls for an epic quest so that Puss In Boots can be granted a wish to restore his nine lives.
