Right in the heart of Perth CBD lies Brookfield Place, a hive for divine dining, world-class shopping, stunning office spaces and architecture, and cultural experiences. The grand indoor and outdoor public destination is a mighty fine place for a stroll, and things are about to become even more visually alluring.
The lower laneways of Brookfield Place are getting a facelift during March where the Blank Walls muralist team are moving in with their passion for street art culture; set to bring us an explosion of colour and creative interpretation.
From Monday 20 March through to Sunday 2 April, watch the live talent in action as Cale Hummerston, Bec Abdy, and Michael Hartley take to the walls in a theme to redefine what it means to catch up on lost time.
Cale has spent the past 40 years painting and is obsessed with anything colourful; while Michael is a passionate designer; and Bec is a self-taught artist whose paintings are both magical and mind blowing.
The international street art company, Blank Walls came about right here in Perth by trio Jerome Davenport, Will Clark, and Alex Harvey. Together they aim to bring people together through the medium and celebration of art.
And in spot like Brookfield Place, a setting for discovery, savouring, inspiration, relaxing, and socialising; it’s the ideal hub for the No More Blank Lanways activation.
After you’ve worked up an appetite with all that gazing, a number of Brookfield Place venues are offering uniquely crafted food and drink specials in the name of creativity and connection. Namely, The Heritage, W Churchill, Bar Lafayette, and Print Hall.
No More Blank Laneways will be going forth at Brookfield Place Lower Lane at 125 St Georges Terrace in Perth City from 20 March until 2 April 2023 for all of your outdoor artsy needs.
