It’s that time of the year again when we’re blessed with seas of green for the annual St Patrick’s Day festivities. This Thursday, March 17, get into the Irish spirit by sinking a pint of Guinness (or Jameson if whisky’s more your vibe) to celebrate our mates from Ireland.
If your idea of a craic-ing good time involves live music, you’ll want to head to Fenians Irish Pub. From 1pm, you’ll be blessed with the luck of the Irish with live performances, Irish dancers, cold beers, cocktail specials, authentic Irish food, and more.
For those who are super duper early birds, though, Durty Nelly’s Irish Pub is opening their doors for St Paddy’s Day at 7am, serving up a full Irish fry-up, alongside your choice of Guinness, Club Orange, or Irish Coffee.
If you’re looking for something a little more chill on St. Patrick’s Day this year (for example, something that doesn’t involve drinking), then you can celebrate by catching the Fraser Avenue Tree Lights, which will be illuminated green amongst the branches at Kings Park from 7pm.
