Love a good plate of handmade pasta, or perhaps a hearty seafood dish? If so, it sounds like a healthy dose of Italian cuisine is your thing, and blessed be, a restaurant serving up just that is on the horizon for Perth city.
Set to take up residence in Brookfield Place’s multi-level dining and drinking space, Print Hall; journey through the cobble-stoned streets of old Italy with the all-new eatery, Stampa!
The former print house may not be your coastal holiday dream, but the timeless heritage building’s halls are soon to brim with warm aromatics reminiscent of an authentic Italian experience.
Lead by Print Hall’s new Executive Chef, Luca Minetti and Stampa!’s Head Chef, Paolo del Monte, both hailing from Italy; the two Mediterranean powerhouses will combine their talents and a lifetime of international culinary experiences for your dining needs.
Luca is renowned for his complex and beautifully nuanced flavours along with impeccable plating, while Paolo has an impressive 24 years of international experience under his belt, including his role as Chef de Partie at two-Michelin star restaurant, Caino in Montemerano, and London’s two-Rosette awarded Thistle Hotel.
The pair’s skills are exquisitely refined and set to deliver a taste of Italy unique to Perth. Utilising high quality ingredients and traditional cooking techniques, the fare touches on many an Italian region.
With sophistication at the forefront, the menu enlists classic seafood dishes inspired by the coastal Amalfi to hearty hand-made, fresh pasta dishes that’ll transport your mind, body, and soul to the Northern Hemisphere locale. While you’re at it, pair your feast with a fine glass of vino.
Stampa!’s 75-person, ground floor fit-out officially opens on Thursday 25 May whether that’s for long business lunches, intimate nights out, or whenever you have an itching for some dang tasty Italo cuisine.
