The Gateway Games are in full swing at Cockburn Gateway with a series of exciting activities for the centre’s younger shoppers to challenge their sporting skills these school holidays! Until Sunday 17 July, the Gateway Games will run as a free activity zone, featuring five fun games for kids of all ages to get involved in, including; basketball, bowling, beanbag toss, skill testers and a few more little surprises here and there.
The zone is set to promote the importance of kids involvement in sport, bringing a focus to the joy of childhood sport and importance of community participation. Last weekend, the Cockburn Gateway grounds were blessed with the NBL1’s Couckburn Cougars, where kids were challenged to go head-to-head with the local athletes.

While Cockburn Gateway Centre Manager, Alexandra McAuliffe says, “We are looking forward to bringing these fun, free sports activities to Cockburn Gateway these July school holidays.”
