There’s nothing quite like a jug of gold and a few snags on the ‘barbie amidst a warm summer’s day to take the edge off whatever it may be that needs edge-refining in your world. And if those two elements of life tickle your fancy, you’re in luck – the WA Beer and Beef Festival is coming back for another huge ordeal.
The celebration of all things beer and beef kicks off on Saturday 29 October for two days of big flavours and big alfresco vibes in the scenic Burswood Parklands.
Across the weekend span, more than 60 breweries will be ready and waiting to serve your palate with more than 200 cold ‘n’ crisp local beers and special limited edition event brews on hand. Expect to see bevvy names with the likes of Big Shed Brewing Co., Dingo Brewing Co., Full Circle Brewery, New Belgium, Thorny Devil, Wolf of the Willows, and Yak Ales – to name a few.
But if you’re not a fan of the golden nectar, never fear, your mouth won’t go parched. Garden of Cocktail Dreams have got your back serving up thirst quenching concoctions, and Wine Lawn will be pouring the adult grape juice. You’ll also find Sobah Non-Alcoholic Beverages close by providing the delicious zero per centers.
And what’s a beer and beef festival without the beef. There’s gonna be a decent line-up of WA’s juiciest food vendors dishing out the most sensational and salivating BBQ cuts. A few of those being Churras South American BBQ, Karnivore BBQ, Smokr, and Tony Roma’s. But if you’re not feeling carnivorous, there’s going to be a smorgasbord of other options to fill the belly too.
And is it really a festival without live music? Your ears will be basking in the sounds of WA talent across two stages, while enjoying carnival rides, the bucking bull, and life size games that’ll be scattered throughout the park.
It’s going to be a beauty, so pack a picnic blanket, round up your furry friends, oh and your pets too, for a boozy and beefy day at the WA Beer and Beef Festival.
