We made a call-out to the Secret Perth community on Instagram, looking for everyone’s favourite women-led businesses around the city so that we can showcase them for International Women’s Day on 8 March 2023. And the people have spoken, so here eight amazing women-led businesses as voted by you.
1. Pepe & Peach
If you’re looking for some adorable, locally made baby items, kids products, and accessories, look no further than Pepe & Peach. They sell everything from breastfeeding covers, baby bibs, and blankets to gift sets, sensory blankets, and more. 2. Walky Talky (Physio & Speech Therapists)
Walky Talky is your extra support in those early stages of raising a child: everything from helping with your baby’s communication skills to compiling ideas for toys, activities, and carrying positions. Alison and Chiara are the Paediatric Therapists behind Walky Talky and you can check out their services here.
3. LA Fit Studio – Highgate and Subiaco
Owned by Claire Chidgzey & Jaye Cuypers, the LA Fit Studios in Subiaco and Highgate that offers a range of fitness classes that’ll surely get your endorphins pumping. Check out their website to find a class that suits you.

4. Studio Koloor (Home Decor & Art)
Resin art has become wildly popular lately, and with good reason: it looks stunning! Studio Koloor crafts a vibrant array of pieces: from homewares such as cheese boards and trays to unique artwork you can hang up around the house, Lakshmy Radhakrishnan is ever-so-talented in her eye for design. 5. Popi Posi Events (Balloons & Event Hire)
If you’re looking to bring a bit of zest to your next event, let Popi Posi take care of you. 7. Artistic Visions Hair Salon – East Perth
Since 2001, Artistic Visions has been looking after all things hair in their East Perth studio.
