Perth City is lucky enough to sit right on the Swan River’s waterfront, with Elizabeth Quay connecting the city’s streets to the picturesque scape. Plenty of cafes, bars, and eateries line the river banks, all competing for the best views, and now another high-end eatery is set to join the line-up.
6HEAD is Sydney’s premium steakhouse located at The Rocks’ bustling harbour precinct. Having first opened their doors in 2019, they’re set to expand and are heading westward for Elizabeth Quay’s newly developed One The Esplanade building.
Continuing their chic waterfront distinction, 6HEAD has put pen to paper for a 10-year lease, securing sweeping views across the Swan’s inner-city expanse. The new restaurant will be housed in a spacious 419sqm interior, along with a sizeable 143sqm of al fresco seating area.
The 185-seat restaurant, although a steakhouse at heart, will offer a range of fare ensuring a diverse dining experience can still be enjoyed. Think chicken parfait atop brioche, a plethora of oysters, and lavish slow-cooked chicken.
But not without wagyu steaks from the northern Kimberley region, and two-kilogram tomahawk steaks with a marble score of 10 to share. With 6HEAD’s culinary director, Sean Hall noting that crayfish and marron will be sourced from around the state, and will utilise local produce where possible.
The top-notch eatery hails from the Seagrass Boutique Hospitality Group, which also steers The Meat & Wine Co, Hunter and Barrel, and Italian Street Kitchen in Western Australia. So the stakes are high for both good flavour and altitude.
6HEAD is preparing to open its doors in late-June or early-July this year at One The Esplanade, located on the corner of Geoffrey Bolton Avenue and Duchess Way, Elizabeth Quay.
