Not only do these spellbinding soundtracks elevate our favourite on-screen moments, but they leave a lasting impression that stays with us long after we leave the cinema or switch off the television.
Wesley Church will be hosting these concerts that will be honouring Joe Hisaishi’s impressive repertoire, music from hit shows, including Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon, and Warner Bros. productions. Get ready to be transported to the magical worlds of Westeros, Middle-earth, and Oz while listening to the outstanding soundtracks that accompany some of the most beloved films and series ever made.

100 Years of Warner Bros. at Perth Town Hall
In honor of the Warner Bros. film studios centenary, you can also catch a special tribute to award-winning soundtracks from a range of classics including Casablanca, Singin’ in the Rain and The Wizard of Oz, to more recent blockbusters like Wonder Woman and A Star Is Born. As the musicians of Dolce Ensemble take to the stage, music fans and cinephiles alike will get to celebrate the movies produced by one of the leaders in the American film and TV industry.
Best of Joe Hisaishi and More at Wesley Church
This August, the timeless compositions of Joe Hisaishi and more will be flooding through Wesley Church at this spectacular tribute to anime classics. Thousands of candles will be lighting up the space around you as compositions from iconic films including Princess Mononoke, My Neighbour Totoro, Spirited Away and Porco Rosso enchant and amaze. Performed by a string quartet, these compositions will spark nostalgia as you relive your favourite on-screen moments from your most beloved anime movies and series.
These extraordinary Candlelight concerts are paying homage to some of the most celebrated soundtracks from your favourite films and more. Performed by gifted musicians, these sensational scores come to life with the flicker of hundreds of glimmering candles in one of Perth’s most remarkable venues.
The Candlelight series takes place twice each night with two back-to-back performances – one at 6:30pm and a later show at 8:30pm.
