Cool Off With A Soft Serve Chimney Cone At A Christmas Market Near You This Week

Chimney cones, A.K.A, doughnut cones are coming to a Christmas Market near you this week, all courtesy of Chimney Treat, a food van slinging these truly decadent sweets. Chimney cones are freshly baked pastries originating from Transylvania. Named after their hollow cylindrical shape, these unique treats are crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, just like a fresh doughnut. After being baked on a rotisserie grill, they come filled with vanilla soft serve ice cream or vegan coconut whipped cream and a variety of yummy toppings.

At The Chimney Treat truck, some of the menu flavours you can choose from are The O.G, which is filled with Nutella spread and custard and topped with hundreds of thousands and Oreo, Cookie Nana, filled to the brim with cookie butter spread, crushed Biscoff Cookie and soft serve, and topped with Banana and caramel Sauce. Then there’s Strawberry Kiss, jam-packed with strawberry jam, soft serve and topped with sprinkles, fresh strawberries and strawberry sauce, and the popular Dream Cone drizzled in chocolate sauce, sprinkles and sprinkles and an Oreo stuck into the ice cream.

Chimney Treat will pop up at a few markets this week, which means you can get some Christmas shopping done while you satisfy your sweet tooth. On Thursday, December 9, they will be at Scarborough Sunset Market from 5 – 9 pm, then at Watertown Christmas Market on Friday, December 10 from 11 am – 6 pm, Saturday, December 11 from 11 am – 5 pm, and Sunday, December 12 from 11 am – 5 pm.
