Get your taste buds ready for an adventure of a lifetime – from 25 August until 3 September, the crew at Heritage Wine Bar & Store are celebrating their 10th birthday in a delicious tribute to the backbone of people, producers and winemakers that have supported them since day dot!
Across the delectable ten day span, you’ll be able to enjoy Chef Gord Kahle’s multi-course set menu; a series of special one-off dishes that shine a spotlight on The Heritage’s community of local farmers, fishers and producers.
The featured makers and creators on the birthday menu include: Cambray Cheese, Blackwood Valley Beef from Dirty Clean Food, Octopus from Fins Seafood, The Mushroom Guys, Great Southern Groves Olives, Little Farm Eggs, Wagin Duck, Leaf Bean Machine ‘Karvan Coffee’, plus winemakers Idée Fixe, Vasse Felix, Below and Above, Vino Volta, and Dormilona.
But before you tuck in, upon arrival you’ll be treated to a complimentary glass of Idee Fixe Blanc de Blancs sparkling, and then perhaps you’ll opt to up the ante by sipping on the birthday edition wine pairing; curated by The Heritage Sommelier, Lisa Chambers which is designed to showcase their most loved, local labels. Or simply play it safe and go by the glass – either way, it’s a celebration of everything The Heritage love about West Australian wine.
If you’ve not had the pleasure of visiting Heritage Wine Bar & Store as of yet, you can expect to be pleasantly surprised by their chic venue that boasts high ceilings and marble floors which exude a New York cross European-style ambiance on both the inside and outside of the building. The black and white colour scheme provide a slick visual experience, all whilst illuminated by the natural lighting beaming through the grand windows.
