Electronic music festivals in Perth seem to be all the rage, with two brand spanking new soirees on the way. First, we announced the incoming ROAM Festival, and now Higher Grnd – both anticipated for March 2023.
Higher Grnd will see the Red Hill Auditorium out in the Swan Valley (amongst other Australian shows) pop with three emerging electronic artists from the UK headlining the soiree; Dimension, Conducta and Notion.
The trio are dubbed UK dance music’s ‘best kept secret’ – with Dimension having made a rise through BBC Radio 1’s A-list; Conducta recognised for his unique style of UK garage that blends elements of house, bass, and grime; while Notion has some serious bangers and is known for being one of bassline’s most prominent new-generation artists.
As well as this spicy Higher Grnd triad, there will be supporting acts by a number of special guests which are yet to be announced. But the coming weeks are looking promising for such things.
The inaugural festival is bound to go off, as it’s brought to the people of Perth and beyond by leading electronic music events teams including ROAM Festival, Origin Fields, No One But Us, and The Palace Motel.
