Perth and Peel come out of lockdown at 12:01am Saturday 3 July.
WA recorded a new case overnight but despite this the Perth and Peel regions will come out of lockdown as planned.
The positive case is not thought to be an issue as the woman has been in isolation for the past few days already since her partner contracted the virus while dining at the Indian Ocean Brewery.
While the stay-at-home orders will be lifted at midnight tonight, a few other restrictions will remain in place until midnight on Monday. They include obligatory mask-wearing (indoors and outdoors but usual exemptions remain in place) and the 4sqm rule for businesses. Visitors to home are limited to ten people while private outdoor gatherings are capped at 20.
For the full list of restrictions moving forward as well as all changes coming into effect on Tuesday, see the WA government website.
