Subiaco’s Subi Night Market will kick off its fourth season on 5 September 2026. It returns to Market Square Park on Edenderry Terrace every Saturday evening from 5 pm to 9 pm through to 8 May 2027. Entry is free. The market, presented by See Subiaco, drew more than 130,000 visitors last season. This year boasts a significantly expanded food lineup, a new entertainment partnership and a fuller community calendar.
Subi Night Markets gets upgrade with six new vendors
The most notable addition is Cha Pang, described as the only business in Western Australia dedicated to Thai pancake rolls — a Bangkok street food staple served fresh to order with fillings ranging from custard cream to savoury soy.
Celtic Cravings joins as Perth’s only Irish-inspired food trailer, bringing spice bags, chicken fillet rolls and curry cheese chips to the market. Piadina Nonna Pina specialises in Romagna-style charred flatbreads filled with Prosciutto di Parma, hand-stretched mozzarella, osso buco and braised beef cheeks.
Rounding out the new arrivals are MatchérieXO, a speciality matcha bar serving hand-whisked Japanese matcha and hojicha; Emotional Support Cookies, known for loaded cookies with molten centres; and The Clean Canteen, which runs an entirely gluten-free, vegan and refined sugar-free menu including açai bowls and real fruit ice cream. They join a returning roster — including Tings, Taco Daddy, Pasta e Fagioli and Banana Leaf Filipino Cuisine — as part of a total lineup of more than 40 food stalls and 20 retail and artisan traders.
Entertainment on point at the markets
For the first time, the market has partnered with WAAPA (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts), with students and alumni delivering weekly live performances covering opera, jazz, classical, contemporary and singer-songwriter sets throughout the season.
The entertainment program also includes free outdoor movie nights, a Halloween celebration, exclusive performances during the Perth International Jazz Festival, Fringe programming as part of Subilicious, and expanded family-friendly activities.
Free weekly Latin dance lessons from Juan Rando Dance Academy run from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm every Saturday, leading into social dancing under the market’s newly illuminated pavilion.
The returning Meet Your Street experience invites neighbours to book a long communal table, while Spirit of Little Things serves live-mixed cocktails tableside.
Mayor David McMullen said the season builds on the market’s growing reputation as one of the city’s signature Saturday night events. “Six new vendors and our first partnership with WAAPA make this the most exciting season yet,” he said.

Subi Night Market is located at Market Square, Edenderry Terrace, Subiaco, next to Subiaco Train Station. Thus, organisers recommend arriving by train, bus, bike or on foot.
