Gather the gang, because your next weekend feed is sorted. Taking place in Northbridge over five Saturdays, from April 30 until the end of May, William Street Long Lunch is making a warmly welcomed return.
Some of the best eateries in Northbridge are teaming up for this roving long lunch. We’re talking Sauma, La Cholita, No Mafia and Double Rainbow, all serving up epic eats with drinks to pair. For $60 in total, you’ll get one course at each of the four venues (so four courses in total). This means you also get the chance to walk off each course as you stroll to your next serving.
You’ll start off at Sauma with some heart-warming Indian delights. Think red chicken tikka roasted in the tandoori oven and served up with kashmiri chilli, turmeric, mint, ginger, pickled onions and watermelon.
Then after a short walk, you’ll get a little taste of Mexico at La Cholita, where you’ll tuck into two tostadas with chorizo, white bean, and feta and charred corn, jalapeno and avocado, as well as a Piña Paloma cocktail. Yum!
While on a little buzz from your cocktail, take a trip to Italy across the road at No Mafia, where it’s pasta and wine time. Enjoy casarecce with ragù alla bolognese paired with a glass of vino rosso.
Can’t forget dessert either. Just when you think you’re full, a black sesame cheesecake with cream and burnt miso caramel will be waiting for you nearby at Double Rainbow, as well as a salted peach and macadamia old fashioned.
You can arrive for your William Street Long Lunch between 11.30 am 2.30pm.
