We now declare that Wednesdays, formerly known as hump day, shall also be known as gnocchi day, and it’s all because of the Market Grounds’ Bottomless Gnocchi Club. It’s making a grand return just in time for the colder weather where full bellies are key to keeping warm.
Although we are kind of worried that we’ll end up rolling away after eating our two-hour fill of bottomless gnocchi, we’re also excited that we’ll be able to roll through to the end of the week after eating our two-hour fill of gnocchi. Bring on the potato dumplings and bring on stretchy pants, unbuttoned pants and the soft, pillowy goodness that only chefs’ handmade gnocchi can serve up.
The Market Grounds know that variety is the spice of life, so they’ve got three dishes of deliciousness to satiate your taste buds and your mid-week hankering for carbs, carbs and carbs.
Choose from the classic gnocchi served up with lamb ragu, crispy kale and pangrattato, or go for it with stracciatella, tomato sugo and basil, or be a little bit naughty and go fried gnocchi with spiced pumpkin, sage, and pecorino.
Bartenders at the Market Grounds are some of the best in the business and this is not their first Gnocchi Club. The bar team have got ideal pairings to suit any of your orders. All you’ve got to do is ask and they’ve got you covered with the perfect drink.
While we’d love to say that walk-ins would be guaranteed a seat, we both know that booking ahead is going to be the way to go.
