Perth’s dining scene is on fire (literally). If you’ve been camping before, you’ll know that things, for some reason, taste better when cooked on an open flame. So if you want to take that camping experience but make it 100% fancier and tucked away inside a pleasant restaurant in the city, then a visit to Daph’s in Leederville is a must.
This intimate, 20-seat restaurant serves up gourmet degustations every night that are driven by both flame and season. Each dish of the six courses is cooked on an open fire, the menu rotating to include fresh seasonal produce. You can also choose to include a wine pairing alongside your dining experience.
What’s on the menu?
Tonight’s menu starts with scorched sourdough focaccia served with homemade mustard butter and eggplant chutney, followed by roasted cauliflower served with almond & garlic bread sauce, flame-grilled fresh seafood, as well as cajun chicken ballotine and char-grilled rump cap.
Then for dessert, you can expect to satisfy your sweet tooth with a Burnt basque cheesecake served with strawberries & cream. *drools*.
If wine isn’t your bevvie of choice, Daph’s also mixes up a delicious range of cocktails you can order and sip on, as well as non-alcoholic drinks too.
