It’s official – one of Perth’s most renowned markets has made a comeback to the centre of the city as of Friday 21 Ocotber; the Twilight Hawkers Market.
Over the years, since 2011 to be exact, the affair has become Western Australia’s biggest street food market and they’re set to satisfy your stomach and sensors every dang Friday from 4.30pm until 9.30pm, until 31 March 2023.
With the Forrest Place locale, you’ll be able to take your taste buds on a culinary adventure around the globe, all in the one spot. Perth’s food culture is diverse to say the least and the Twilight Hawkers Market is here to help you get out of your comfort zone, while in the comfort zone of Perth City.
Every weekend you’ll find up to 30 different vendors offering their goods and exuding their irresistible scents – whether that be something getting crusty on the flame grill, or the sweet smells of a crepe delicately forming over a hot plate. You’ll be able to indulge in fare with the likes of Indonesian, Filipino, Nepalese, Italian, Polish, French, Brazilian, Indian, Malaysian, and a whole heap more.
And vegans, halal, and gluten-free friends, never fear – there will be plenty to choose from come Friday nights on the town, or post-work hanger.
But it ain’t all about food – there will be roving entertainers to keep the intrigue high, live music to soothe your ear holes, and new public arts to be marveled at too.
You may be thinking, “heck I really cannot be bothered finding a park in the city” – well the City Of Perth Parking has got you covered with their free parking offer from 6pm every week night, as well as three hours of free parking on the weekends; how good!
The Forrest Place venue is completely accessible to those who use wheelchairs, walking aids and who are scooting prams around the place.
Get your appetite built up, it’s going to be a tasty affair at the Twilight Hawkers Market on Friday evenings from 4:30pm through to 9:30pm in Forrest Place!
