One for your September weekend plans: Subi Night Market kicks off its fourth season in September at Market Square Park on Edenderry Terrace, Subiaco. It will be running every Saturday from 17:00–21:00 until 8 May 2027. Entry is free and the season features 40+ food stalls, 20 retail traders, WAAPA performances, free Latin dance lessons and expanded family programming.
Strut into a cabaret, circus performance called LASSÙ
LASSÙ, a space-western cabaret and circus show created by Merrik Ashton, is on its way to Northbridge this September. The performance blends traditional circus acts with burlesque, featuring a cast of characters that includes space cowboys, alien drifters, and the Rodeo Sisters.
The storyline follows Rodeo Clown Rusty as he attempts to revive the saloon’s past. Expect a mix of acrobatic stunts and cabaret routines set within a risqué, sci-fi-themed environment for those 18 and over!
Sail into the Perth Boat Show
The Perth Boat Show fills six pavilions with marine technology, on-water gear, and vessels ranging from family trailer boats to high-performance watercraft. The lineup includes live demonstrations and Sea Safe sessions at the Boat Shed Stage, with broadcasts hosted by Pete Curulli.
Families can head to Little Nippers Cove for free children’s activities over the weekend, while Sunday features a Father’s Day program with giveaways for the first dads through the door and entries into a weekend warrior prize pack.
Catch the free nightly The Story of Kooyar water show at Elizabeth Quay
Experience The Story of Kooyar, a free nightly water-screen animation at Elizabeth Quay. Perfect for a September evening in the city, this 20-minute animated water-screen show celebrates Whadjuk Noongar stories and will play nightly at Elizabeth Quay Inlet from 25–28 September, 7 pm–10 pm, free to all ages.
Get cosy with vintage vehicles at Classic Cars and Coffee
